THE YOUNG CENTER FOR IMMIGRANT CHILDREN'S RIGHTS

Won't someone please think of the children? Alright. I ask that you join me in donating to The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights.

My wife and I wake up every morning and care for our kids. We get them dressed, bring them food, and attempt to make their days fulfilling and meaningful while keeping them safe. Every child deserves the right to have someone there to help them through life.

The kids that The Young Center help come to America for many reasons—political upheaval, extreme poverty, child labor, abusive homes, or just searching for their family. From where many of us sit, it's difficult to believe that this actually happens. But it absolutely does. And regardless of the circumstances, these kids need our help.

The Young Center provides legal guardians for trafficking victims and unaccompanied immigrant children who, in most cases, must navigate the immigration system alone, without an attorney or any other adult to help them.

The Young Center Child Advocates speak the children’s languages and often share the same cultural background, creating meaningful ties with each child while advocating for his or her rights so that no matter what happens—whether they remain in the US or return to their home country—their safety is ensured.

I humbly ask that you donate with me to support this organization.  We must treat the most vulnerable among us with love and guide them away from harm. Let's help these kids however we can.

Thanks.

Here's a song by Pete Seeger...

IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD

IF WE COULD CONSIDER EACH OTHER
A NEIGHBOR, A FRIEND, OR A BROTHER
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL WORLD
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD

IF EACH LITTLE KID HAD ENOUGH MILK EACH DAY
IF EACH WORKING MAN HAD ENOUGH TIME TO PLAY
IF EACH HOMELESS SOUL HAD A GOOD PLACE TO STAY
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD

IF THERE WERE NO POOR AND THE RICH WERE CONTENT
IF STRANGERS WERE WELCOME WHEREVER THEY WENT
IF EACH OF US KNEW WHAT TRUE BROTHERHOOD MEANT
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD

IF WE COULD CONSIDER EACH OTHER
A NEIGHBOR, A FRIEND, OR A BROTHER
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL WORLD
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD
IT COULD BE A WONDERFUL WORLD
