it feels great waking up here. what an amazing city. i've visited frequently over the past ten years to see friends and family, but it's been ages since i felt a true sense of ownership to where i live. there seems to be some sort of subconscious element here reminding everyone that they are a part of something, reinforcing their reason for being, pushing them to create an outstandingly unique habitat for each other. i admit it's no utopia, but it definitely has panache. and that's good enough for me.
